  Educational technologies in my language learning process

Learning a new language is not easy but at the same time it is very interesting and amusing. We all know that time is changing and new ways of learning languages are always created.

The most widespread way is technologies. I have been learning English for 10 years and I have used many applications and programs which helped me to know more about this language and acquire new skills. My first program was "BBC Learning English". I knew about it when I was studying at the lyceum. I practised my listening skills there. Also I used many applications such as "English Grammar Test", "English phrases in Use", "English Idioms in Use" and "Duolingo". They were very useful because I knew a lot of words, phrasal verbs, idioms and their origin. Moreover, I had an opportunity to revise grammar rules and do some exercises which helped me to reveal my weak sides. But my favourite application was «Fun Easy Learn» which allowed me to learn the English with fun because there were a lot of funny pictures, tracks which gave me examples of how to pronounce words. Also the application had different exercises for revising like crosswords, puzzles, filling gaps and others.   

However, learning a foreign language through applications and programs was also a difficult process because not all information was given there and, consequently, I had some questions and did not understand topics completely. Besides, some of them had advertisements which appeared every 5-10 minutes and distracted me, did not let me focus on my studying. Moreover, some explanations were without examples.  Also my eyesight became worse. That is why I got tired quickly. But in spite of that, I admit that I gained new knowledge using such educational technologies and I hope that more programs and applications will appear in the future for people who want to study foreign languages and develop their skills.
